Dr. Yamada, is a Japanese medical doctor, born in Kobe, Japan. For more than 10 years, Ui has worked as a general physician and specialist of psychosomatic medicine in Tokyo. His practice is consultation-liaison psychiatry in conjunction with the palliative care unit.
Last year Ui enrolled at UCSD for the marital and family therapy program. Along with his studies, he has opted to learn under the guidance program at San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine. Ui will be returning back to Japan in August and is looking forward to applying what he has while training in San Diego for a year to his clinical practice in Japan.
